A vote for me is a vote for you!!! I will use the current technology we have to our advantage. In the past when governments were first created small communities existed. Many communities were under 100 people and it was a small knit organization where everyone went to the same church and knew each other. The views of the people were well known and the person elected to represent that community had the time and resources to gather the options of the community. Now we have advanced to a very large nation and populations have grown tremendously. Elected officials do not have the time to visit each person anymore, nor do I ever see them show up at council meetings. Are they lazy, do they not care about the people, or are they just too busy? My biggest question is why someone hasn't figured out a way to resolve this major issue? I have the answer!!! Why not use the communications technology we have at our fingertips. I will create a website that will show you a list of all the bills I am to vote on. Then after being properly identified as a registered citizen of the district you will have a column on the left which will give you a summary of the bills to be votes on and then on the right you will choose yes, no, or abstain. Then I will take the results of the poll before voting and vote how the community wishes, representing YOU, the people. The best part about this is that it can be done from the convenience of your own living room, office, or any place you desire. YOUR VOICE WILL BE HEARD!!!
