Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. By law, the maximum amount an individual may contribute is $4,600 ($2,300 for the Primary Election and $2,300 for the General Election). William R Whitney III for Congress is required by federal law to report the name, address, occupation, and employer of each individual whose aggregate contributes exceed $200 per election cycle.
